ARTD is a public policy advisory firm, specialising in monitoring and evaluation. Since 1989, our team has designed and delivered developmental, process and impact evaluations exclusively to government and community organisations. We work with all levels of government, supporting effective decision making and building evaluation capacity.

Monitoring and evaluation frameworks
We work collaboratively with funders and service delivery organisations to design fit-for-purpose monitoring, evaluation and impact frameworks that support both program-level improvement and organisation-wide reporting. Often using a logic model to help you understand what is working (or what isn’t), these frameworks are designed to be feasible within existing systems and implemented in stages to support continuous improvement.

Design and co-design
We engage service users, communities and practitioners to design and co–design services, monitoring and evaluation frameworks and evaluations. This work draws on lived expertise, research evidence, practitioner expertise and needs analysis.

Adaptive management and implementation support
We use monitoring data and logical reasoning to support adaptive management of policy, strategies, programs and services. We also support implementation through the development of implementation guidelines and help organisations identify key conditions and considerations for scaling implementation
