I am from a disabled people’s, representative or advocacy organisation – how can I get involved?

You can get involved using the ‘Share your experience’ online form.

You can share your thoughts about your understanding of the experiences of people with disability:

  • in general
  • about the people that you support (for example, if you support children or culturally and linguistically diverse communities)
  • about the specific topic or topics your organisation is focused on

You can do this at a time that suits you and take the time you need to complete the form.

You can submit text, audio, video or images.

You won’t receive a payment for doing this.

Support for people with disability making a submission

If you support a group of people with disability to make a group submission through the ‘Share your experience’ online form, you are eligible for reimbursement for this time. We can reimburse you at a rate of $50 per hour, in line with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) rates, for up to 2 hours to coordinate a submission.

If you would like to be reimbursed for your time, please email [email protected] to let us know. To pay you, we will need you to:

  • confirm with us before you start
  • provide an invoice for your time at the rate outlined above
  • clearly specify the organisation that you work for.
