Consultation

We can engage with all sorts of stakeholders— government, non-government, peak bodies, consumers, special groups. Understanding the points of view of diverse stakeholders takes careful sampling and selecting the best methods for collecting data and reporting.

Stakeholder satisfaction and agency relations

To measure the relationship between organisations and their stakeholders, we first investigate the attributes of satisfaction—what it should look like (see our article Using stakeholder research in the evaluation of organisational performance). We can conduct periodic measures that track changes, for example, every two years since 1995 we’ve conducted agency relations surveys for NSW Treasury, and since 2001 we’ve surveyed stakeholders for the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal.
