This research project examined the effectiveness of police cautions in preventing youth re-offending and the factors affecting re-offending, using de-identified police data and a survey of police youth liaison officers.

Strategic advice on funding to meet legal need

ARTD advised the association in relation to their funding submission to the Attorney General's Department, advocating a revised funding formula for Community Legal Centres.
Reducing Youth Offending Programme
New Zealand Department of Child, Youth and Family Services, Department of Corrections, 2005-2006
ARTD advised the departments on methods and managing this evaluation of an innovative four-year pilot that targeted high risk youth offenders using Multisystemic Therapy (MST) in cross cultural settings.
Rural Alcohol Diversion
